Step 1: Generate an API key
Webmasters need an API key to access and use the Bing Webmaster API. This API key is available fromBing Webmaster ToolsTo generate, just follow these steps:
- existBing Webmaster ToolsIf you don't have a Bing Webmaster account yet, sign up now using your Microsoft, Google, or Facebook account.
- Add and verify the site you want to submit URLs for through the API if you haven't already done so. You can verify your site using XML, meta tags, DNS records, or by importing your site directly from Google Search Console.
- Click Settings in the upper left corner of the navigation menu. Select API Access.
- Now click on API Key.
- If you are generating an API key for the first time, click Generate API Key. If you have already generated an API key, you will see your key here.
Notice:Each user can only generate one API key, which can be used across sites. You can change your API key at any time; the system will make the change within 30 minutes.
Step 2: Integrate with your website
You can use JSON or XML to send in the URL submission API request.
