How to Create a Google News Sitemap
If your website is updated frequently, you need a Google News Site Map , submit your articles to Google News so that they appear in the news search results All in One SEO Pro makes this very easy. If you have All in One SEO Pro's Pro plan or higher, very little configuration is required.

What is a Google News Sitemap?
A Google News Sitemap is a special sitemap that contains only news articles. It enables Google to quickly find your news articles and display them in news search results.
Don't confuse this with any other type of sitemap. It should only contain news articles and no other types of content.
To submit a News Sitemap to Google,We recommend that you add your site toGoogle's Publisher Centerand approved.
While this approval from the Google Publisher Center is not required, it has several benefits, including content and brand control, monetization opportunities, and eligibility for placement in Google Newsstand.

Enable News Sitemap
To get started, go toAll in One SEOIn the menuSitemaps, then clickNews Sitemaptab.
You will see " News Site Map" screen, and you should see “Enable sitemap is on. If it is off, you will need to turn it on.
News Sitemap Settings
Next we need to decide what content to include in our News Sitemap.
existNews Sitemap Settingssection, you will seePublication NameandPost Typessettings.
existPublication Namefield, enter the name of your news publication. If you don't enter one, we'll use yourWebsite Title.
Post TypesSettings is where you choose what content to include in your News Sitemap.
If you want to include everything, you can put Include all post types The check box remains selected.
If you uncheck Include all post types checkbox, you’ll see a list of all your content post types and can select the ones you want to include in your sitemap.
For example, you probably wouldn’t include pages in your news sitemap, as those pages are unlikely to be news articles. Likewise, if you have other post types, such as products, you shouldn’t include those. Only news content should be included.
That's all the configuration required.You can open the site map by clicking" button to view your Sitemap.
Important Tips:
The News sitemap will only include content that has been published in the last 48 hours. If you have no content published in the last 48 hours, you will see 404 Page Not Found errors, which is normal.
