After downloading the TVBox APK file, install it.

TVBox Settings

The TVBox application has been successfully installed on the smart TV. However, it cannot play any videos and there is no response when clicking on movie posters. For a novice user, it is highly suspected that a junk application has been downloaded. Don't worry, let me show you how powerful TVBox is. To put it in one sentence, once you have TVBox, you will want nothing else!

On the TVBox main interface, click set up EnterTVBox SettingsIn the interface, the core configuration is the home page data source. At this time, there is no data source, so clicking the home page data source will not have any effect.

TVBox imports data source through URL configuration address

Click Configuring Addresses , a configuration window pops up, and you can use a computer or mobile phone to scan the code to access the TVBox configuration address.

Note: Visit the address displayed on your TV. Do not scan the QR code in the picture below. This is just a virtual IP address for a test machine.

URL import data source

The data source interface is the core of TVBox. It is a compiled JSON file ortxtFile, which contains the film and television crawlers of major film and television stations on the Internet. TVBox can load movies into the player through the data source interface file.

Next, we will test importing the data source. TVBox supports network interfaces and local files. For ease of use, we usually directly copy the data source interface URL and paste it in the configuration address.

First, enable storage permissions and import via URL. It is troublesome to input on the TV. It is recommended to use a computer or mobile phone to configure it.

After pasting the playback source, click Confirm, then return to the homepage. After reading the configuration, you can see the playback source name in the upper left corner of TVBox.

After setting up the data source through the import interface, TVBox becomes a powerful tool for watching TV series. You can view all categories of resources on the target site, including all related videos.

TVBox provides an aggregation mode. As the name suggests, when you click on a movie, it will automatically search for related film and television resources from all sites in the aggregation display interface, making it easier for you to find better sources.

After the data source interface is successfully imported, on the TVBox homepage, click Home On the home page, you can select the home page data source. Each data source is different. Here you can try several data sources and choose the one you like.

TVBox imports data sources through browser

Enter the IP address in the browser on the computer and scan the QR code on the mobile phone to open the configuration address.

Copy the path of the data interface file in the custom configuration interface address, and then click OK. Then the configuration interface address will be displayed on the configuration address page on the TV. Click OK to import it. When using the browser configuration interface, be sure to open the TV's storage permission.

TVBox imports data sources through local files

If you are worried that the data source interface will become invalid one day, in fact, most of the data source interfaces have already become invalid, and only a few can still be used. You can save the data source interface file locally and then upload the data source interface file to the TV.

Install TVBox using USB

Prepare a USB flash drive larger than 8G, download the TVBox installer to the USB flash drive, insert it into the TV, open the USB flash drive in the media browser, select the TVBox APK to install, do not unplug the USB flash drive after installation, insert the USB flash drive into the TV, and the TVBox program will run on the USB flash drive. TVBoxOSC can run on lower versions of Android TV, other versions will crash and do not support lower versions of Android TV.

About TVBox Data Source Interface

Only available for Android and TV. After installing on your phone or TV, click:

Settings > Configuration Address > Copy any interface below > Paste it into the configuration address > Click OK > Return to the main page

You can use it after it is displayed as loaded successfully! If you want to change to the TVBox local interface, just download the interface file locally and then upload it to the TV.

Note:

If the TV installation software crashes, it is probably because the system version is too low or incompatible. It is recommended to upgrade the system or change the TV.
The interface comes from the network. Some interfaces will fail from time to time. When they fail, you can manually replace the interface.
