Your credit limit has been exhausted or has expired
When your credit is exhausted or expires at the end of the 30 days, your subscription and services will be disabled. To continue using Azure services, you must upgrade your account. For more information, seeUpgrade Azure Free AccountAfter upgrading, you will continue to use the free services for 12 months and will be charged only for usage above the free services and quantities.
Usage exceeds the free service limit
With an Azure free account, you get a limited amount of free services each month. The free amount expires at the end of the month and does not roll over to the next month. For example, you get 5 GB of file storage each month. If you use only 2 GB in a month, the remaining 3 GB does not roll over to the next month. To avoid being charged, keep your usage within the limits. Microsoft will send you an email to notify you when you have exhausted your credit limit.
You used some services that are not free
After you upgrade your account, you will receive pay-as-you-go rates for services that are not included for free in your Azure free account. Only certain tiers of services are included for free. Your free 12 months have ended
Your free services and quantities will expire at the end of the 12 months. You can find out when your free services expire in the Azure portal.
- Log in Azure portal.
- In the left navigation area, selectAll Services".
- choose"subscription".
- Select the subscription you created when you signed up for a free account.
- Scroll down to find the Free Services grid. Select the tooltip located in the upper left corner of the grid.
Microsoft will send you an email to let you know when it's time to upgrade.
After the free services and quantities expire, you will be charged the pay-as-you-go rates for any services you are using. You can use the Azure portal to delete resources for services you are not using. If you do not plan to use any Azure services, you canUnsubscribe.
