Google Cloud billing issues, payment methods supported by Google Cloud

Cloud Billing accounts are used to pay for usage in Google Cloud projects and Google Maps Platform projects. Cloud Billing accounts are not required to pay for Google Workspace accounts. Google Workspace customers need a separate Google Workspace billing account.

Google payments profile:

Prohibited areas: Google Cloud is available in most countries and regions. However, Google restricts access to some of its services in certain countries or regions, such as China, Crimea, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Syria. If a country is not on the list, it may be because access to Google Cloud services is restricted.
Payment methods you can add to your Google payments profile
In many countries, you can set up a credit card, debit card, or bank account as your primary payment method. You can also set up a backup credit or debit card as a safety net that we'll charge you if your primary payment method fails. This ensures that your Google APIs and cloud services continue to function properly. Note that you can't set up a bank account as a backup payment method.
Supported payment methods, credit and debit cards:
- American Express
- Mastercard
- Visa
- Discover (US only)
- JCB (Japan and the United States only)
- Visa Electron (outside the U.S. only)
- Elo credit card (Brazil only; adding Elo debit cards is not allowed)
- Debit card with Visa or MasterCard logo
Unsupported payment methods:
- Unsupported useRequire two-factor authenticationDebit card payment.
- Payments using prepaid cards and virtual credit cards (VCC) are not supported.
- Payments from grant-only bank accounts are not supported.
- Monthly Fee or Threshold Billing AccountWire transfers are not supported. You can add your bank account as a payment method to pay using your bank account (If this payment method is available in your country).
- From July 1, 2022, payments using PayPal will no longer be supported.
- From February 2024,Boleto (Brazil)It is not currently available as a new payment method for Google Cloud accounts. If you already have a Cloud Billing account that is currently configured to use Boleto as a payment method, you can continue to pay with Boleto.
