Access IndexNow Instant Indexing: Bing URL Submission API

Step 1: Generate API key

Webmasters need an API key to access and use the Bing Webmaster API. This API key is available fromTo generate, just follow these steps:

  1. existBing Webmaster ToolsLog in to your account. If you don't have a Bing Webmaster account yet, use yours now,Or register with Facebook account.
  1. Add and verify the sites for which you want to submit URLs via the API, if not already done. You can use XML, meta tags, Verify your site with records or import your site directly from Google Search Console.

Notice:Only one API key can be generated per user, which can be used across sites. You can change your API key at any time; it will be changed within 30 minutes.

Step 2: Integrate with your website

If the URL submission is successful, you will receive an HTTP 200 response. This ensures that your pages are discovered for indexing. If your page matchesBing Webmaster Guidelines, these pages will be crawled and indexed in real time.

When should the URL submission API be called?
A website can call the URL submission API under the following circumstances:

  • New page added
  • The old page has been deleted or
  • Page update
