Oracle Cloud(Oracle Cloud) is a cloud computing service provided by Oracle. Data centers managed by Oracle provide servers, storage, networks, applications and services to users through the global network.
Oracle Cloud provides Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS, released on October 20, 2016), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) and Data as a Service (DaaS). These services are used to build, deploy, integrate, and scale applications in the cloud. Oracle Cloud supports many open standards (SQL, HTML5, presentation layer state transition, etc.), open source applications (Kubernetes, Apache Hadoop, Kafka, etc.) and various programming languages, databases, tools and frameworks, including Oracle-specific, open source and third-party Software and systems.
The Oracle Cloud Free Tier is available by just registering for an Oracle Cloud account. It not only includes a wealth of Always Free cloud services, but also provides a free trial credit of US$300, allowing you to use all applicable Oracle Cloud infrastructure services for free within 30 days. Among them, the Always Free cloud service has no time limit, and the free trial is only valid until the US$300 free credit is used up or 30 days expires (whichever comes first). That is to say, after spending the free money, you can continue to use its VPS cloud host for free.

A maximum of 2 instances can be created, each containing a public IP (the IP region is limited to the region selected when applying). The free instance configuration is as follows:
- 1/8 OCPU and 1 GB RAM
- 20GB storage space
- The official bandwidth of each instance is 480mbps (actually measured 50mbps)
- The total monthly outbound traffic is 10T (shared by all projects in the account, inbound is free)
- Choose from Oracle Linux, CentOS, or Ubuntu Linux system images.
Oracle uses an even distribution of resources. An old hen is divided among 8 people, which is 1/8 ocpu. The total bandwidth is 480. Divided by 8, the theoretical value is 60mbps, and the actual value is about 50mbps.
Preparations before registering for Oracle Cloud

- An email address can be from Microsoft or Google. If you don’t have either email address, don’t use the domestic QQ email address or 163 email address. You won’t receive the verification email.
- A foreign currency credit card, VISA or Master, that can be charged in U.S. dollars.
- A mobile phone number. For domestic users to register, just use the domestic mobile phone number.
After meeting the above three requirements, proceed to the registration process.

Due to the US West (Phoenix), US East (Ashburn), Germany Central (Frankfurt), Korea Central (Seoul), Japan Central (Osaka), Japan East (Tokyo), and Korea North (Chuncheon) region calculations for Arm Ampere A1 Feature demand is high, so the availability of A1 instances in these regions is limited. If you plan to create an A1 instance, we recommend that you select a different region as the primary region.

Please make sure you follow the following points when creating your free trial account
- We do not accept virtual or prepaid cards. We only accept credit (credit) and debit cards.
- The credit or debit card billing address should match the address on file with your bank. Please enter a valid and complete address.
- Multiple accounts. Please don't try again. Only those who have not previously registered are eligible for the Oracle Cloud Free Tier or Free Trial.

What should I do if Oracle Cloud registration fails?
An error occurred while processing the transaction
Unable to complete your registration. Common registration errors include: (a) Using a prepaid card. Oracle only accepts credit and debit cards; (b) intentionally or unintentionally obscures a person's location or identity; (c) enters incomplete or inaccurate account information. If this happens to you, please try again. Otherwise, please contact Oracle Customer Service.
Solution: Generally, this situation is caused by deduction failure and incorrect information. If the deduction fails, first check whether the credit card's overseas payment security verification service has been turned off to ensure that the deduction is successful. If the information is incorrect, it means whether the previous information is true. Do not fill in relevant information randomly.
